Well, let's examine that theory. Episode 3's patch checks in at approximately 500 MB. For the sake of argument, we'll assume that Episode 4 will be twice that, since it's a combination of the original Episode 4 and the old Episode 5. A typical floppy disk holds 1.44 MB of data on a good day where the average temperature is a balmy 21.1 degrees Celcius with a wind speed of no more than 5 mph, and occasionally requiring the sacrificing of a goat at midnight. In such conditions, it would take 695 floppy disks to hold the entirety of the patch, and at a transfer speed of 1 Mbps, about 5 and a half days to install, minus overhead.

So yeah, it's conceivable.

He was from The Princess Bride? I did see that. Quite recently, actually. I saw it in senior year of high school after making a bet with one of my teachers back in freshman year that if I genuinely didn't like it, he would owe me five bucks. If, however, I did like it, I owed him a candy bar of his choice. He damn well better be enjoying that Snicker's bar right now... It'll be the last one he ever gets from me...
