Wow, that's just so so so wrong.  Appears to be one of the worst reviewed movies ever too.

Wait, they actually made a sequel to Titanic? That's just begging for disaster. The funniest part of that whole thing? James Cameron wasn't involved. I think he had the good sense to not do a sequel. I can't say the same for Avatar, but at least he didn't do a sequel to Titanic.

But you are mistaken, it is not a sequel to Titanic (1997). It is a story about a ship called Titanic 2, so they have all the right to use it as a title. (BTW the movie is directed, written and starred by Shane Van Dyke, who is the grandson of Dick Van Dyke.)

But then again this is an Asylum production. The company is famous for making such movies as H.G. Well's War of the Worlds, Alien vs Hunter, Snakes on a Train, The DaVinci Treasure, Pirates of Treasure Island, Transmorphers, Transmorphers 2: Fall of Man, The Terminators, I am Omega, The Day the Earth Stopped, Paranormal Entity, King of the Lost World, Sherlock Holmes, Battle for Los Angeles, Street Racer, 666 The Beast, Sunday School Musical, Invasion of Pod People, Universal Soldiers, 100 Million BC, Death racers, 18-Year old Virgin and many many more.

Do note, that Asylum is known for their violent gore and not even lukewarm lesbian softcore, so some appearance of the overdeveloped sweat gland may appear.

I remember reading in IMDB's message boards, by the director/writer of Transmorphers himself, that he doesn't have a problem if people pick up his movie thinking it's some other movie with a similar name and a bigger budget.

And Titanic 2? What the hell?? It was the same fate as the first titanic. It is like they are saying do not not name your ship titanic or else your will sink just like the first one.
