I just thought the people on this forum would like to take a look at this:

You can tell that I really want that game back... I really do.  May this game see a Silver-Lining-esque rebirth!

Didn't it already see that in the hands of Telltale?

He thinks that TT stole it and ruined it, when in fact Steve Purcell was behind it and even considers TT's version better than what Freelance Police originally was supposed to be.

Speaking in terms of length of game, I agree. I'd love a full-length classic style adventure nowadays. These days we're stuck with cinematic cutscene-laden 2 hour flirtations with something only marginally related to the classic adventure genre from Telltale with nary a challenging puzzle in sight.

From the article, it sounds like a lot of the people who were working on Freelance Police ended up at TellTale.

I really think "Sam and Max: Freelance Police" suffers from the "woulda-been" syndrome.  Since it was something that never came to pass, fans have a way of elevating it to some kind of holy grail status.  It may not have been the really AWESOME game that some purport it to be.
