No, seriously. According to Joystiq, Activision registered a website called activisionadventuregames.com. I'm hoping this points to them finally using Sierra's titles in a half meaningful manner. They also registered other, completely unrelated domain names for those that are interested. Only time will tell where this ends up going.

Whoa. If that site ends up selling Torin's Passage 2 one day, I think I'll faint! Al Lowe or not, I still want that series to be continued! Especially since it was supposed to be at least a trilogy. Anyway... Possibly cool news. Maybe a TellTale collaboration site?

I still need to play Torin's Passage, but I fully intend to. I'm just waiting for Gog.com to get it. It's going to happen eventually; it has to. Along with Quest For Glory. WHERE IS MY QUEST FOR GLORY, GOG.COM?!

Actually, you can buy Torin's Passage on eBay and use DOSBox to play it; I've played it all the way through that way. You just run DOSBox and MOUNT C C:\DOS. "C:\DOS" being your Sierra installation directory. It works perfectly on my 64-bit Windows 7 laptop.

Id prefer a gog version actually. It'll happen eventually, its just a matter of time.

Keep the faith. I understand. I'm glad GOG exists, but 90% of their games are not on my To Get List, sadly. But, I'm researching more of their games. QfG is HIGHLY requested by users of GOG, so you're definitely not alone. I wonder if they have the permission, but just haven't started with Torin's Passage. I could donate the CD I bought off eBay, if they need it.

I don't think they need the CD. I know they have a deal with activision, but I'm not sure if that deal covers quest for glory or not. I'm not positive, but I thought the rights to quest for glory were in question... either way, id like to be able to play quest for glory; I haven't actually played it before, and id like gog to get it so I can purchase it from them.

Like EA is doing with the old Origin Ultima games, then? Interesting, wonder what'll come of it.

I'm hoping something good. Like, a half-decent revival of Sierra's classics. I don't want to see crap like Magna Cum Laude or Box Office Bust again. Even something half-way decent would be better than those. Heck, why not take Lucas Arts' route and do HD remakes for the PC and iOS platforms? I'd like to be able to play King's Quest on my iPad, natively.
