Mainly, it's stuck up engineers who hate art students because the books they read have plots.  Well, plots that don't involve graphs of some sorts of mathematical theorems or equations. :P

Im not an artist, Im a "designer", and even so both my brothers are a******* most of the time cuz of it, they are both engineers, so yeah... tell me about it :(

Well, in Canada, they're pretty non-violent.  North American engineers are pretty much just a part of the crowd...no one cares that they're engineers.
I've been told in south America that engineers are held in very high regard, and they also hold themselves in high regard.
Not too sure about other places in the world, though.

I just made fun of art students at university because it seemed like they had so much time to socialize and talk and blah.  But at the same time, those artsy fartsies can do sooo much more than I can.  Just a different set of interests and talents, really.

Hey, look! Just because I've got the time to do it doesn't mean I do! I mean,I'd kinda have to have friends for that :suffer: ;P

I agree about different sets of interests, though. You have no idea how highly I regard engineers, scientists, etc. because they can do what I find impossible. I'm pretty smart, but only in the humanities - hence the arts/law degree :) I only passed maths with my mum's help, and science/technology might as well be written in a foreign language. On the other hand, some of my very intelligent science-orientated friends have said they wished they had my talent for creativity. I guess we all want what we can't have. Ah well :) [/lecture]
