What Do I Do with "Crying Baby" from Isle of Mists?

I just got Fan's candle lit and I went into the Archdruid's tree. I lit one candle in the zodiac and saw that the result was the Stonehenge thing started glowing. When I stuck my hand into the firepit, the narrator said that it tingled with magic.

So I went back, lit them all, and went back into the Stonehenge. I saw there was something in the firepit, so I pulled it out and it turned out to be something I've called a "crying baby" since it was crying and had a bonnet like the babies in the Isle of Wonder.

Confusingly though, instead of a narrator description when looking at it, I heard a different voice saying "No, no, make it stop!" The only other time I got a different voice instead of a narrator description was when I looked at Stick in the Mud and Rotten Tomato. So I tried combining the two, but to no avail.

I've tried taking it back to the Isle of Wonder with the other babies, but nothing happens (except the narrator berating me for trying stupid things). The fact that the "look" icon on it doesn't give a good description confuses me even more. I can't find anything else to do right now, but I figured I got it for solving the candle/zodiac puzzle and so it must have a purpose.

Any hints?

An Easter Egg ???

Wow, that's confusing! Lighting all the zodiac candles seems to be a really logical thing to do. And there's no indication that this is an easter egg. It's just a crying baby that looks like it's from the Isle of Wonder. I can't be the only one who stumbled upon it by accident and didn't know it was an easter egg.

I don't know if it's possible, but in the inventory screen where you've got the big picture of the selected, it would be nice if the "crying baby" had in the bottom corner the words "Easter Egg Found!" That way there is no confusion for anybody who's stumbled across it and didn't know what it was.

In that case, I guess I need a hint. I thought I solved the zodiac puzzle by lighting all the candles. I can't figure out what else to do. I tried lighting the two candles below Fan's portrait, but the narrator says I can't do that.

You'll need to work some magic with a couple of your other inventory items in order to obtain two of the ingredients for this episode.  Start by looking through the books in the bookshop to see if any of those refer to things you need, then take a look at the news articles posted on the outside of the newspaper building for further help with figuring out which candles to light.

::) Delling, KING'S Quest.  Not PEASANT'S Quest.  You've got them mixed up again, sweetie. ;)

Yeah that easter egg was only supposed to show up under more carefully controlled circumstances, that's my fault.

I have an opinion on how this matter should be fixed for the future. I would make sure the Suffer shows up only when it is supposed to.
That is, when exactly the right five candles are lit.

Now there should be no confusion. Keep up the good work.

One other thing: I think you should be careful about when the firepit on the Isle of Mists glows blue. My suggestion is that if at least one candle is burning the pit glows blue no matter what. For whatever combination of candles, the glow should be identical as long as at least one candle is lit. The only difference should be when the Suffer appears. The glow should appear then too though. The previous episode 3 would glow blue only when 1-4 or 6-12 candles were lit but would always not glow if exactly 5 candles were lit no matter which of those five were lit.

These problems may be a source of confusion for future players. Hope that helps.

I'm trying to get this "crying baby" but it will not turn up for me.  In gameplay, I did do as the original poster did only I lit them all then went to the stonehenge only to get tingled in my fingers coming up empty handed.  After finishing the game, I started replaying parts of the game to discover new deaths, quotes, but mainly to find the suffer (gotta get them all - ocd kicking in).  I lit 1, visited stonehenge, then lit them all then revisited (as OP stated) only to come up tingled empty handed again.

The above states that conditioned are changed now?

Yes previously the baby suffer was showing up when people lit all of the candles.  Really only a very specific group of them are supposed to be lit.  If you read carefully through the horoscopes on the side of the news building you can probably figure out which ones need to be lit.

Small hint:
There are 5 candles that need to be lit to collect this suffer.
If you need more than that post again and I'll give you more of a push.
