Has anyone played this game?  I just picked it up and I've played through it briefly.  It seems to be a fun game and the graphics are good but not the best I've seen.  I'm also a fan of the fact that you can play coop online with up to 8 players.  I haven't really played that far into and I was just wondering what those who have played it thought of the game.

I played the first one on the 360, and I couldn't get into it. I heard the sequel was much better, I'm just reluctant, but still curious.

I was watching a video with the developer explaining the game.  Apparently, there are close to a million spell possible spell combinations to create.  I already went with a mage, but this should be interesting once I have some spare time on my hands.

I've been interested in this game, but I haven't found the urge to part with my money just yet; what kind of an RPG is this (I think it's an RPG, right?)? Is it an open-world RPG with real time battle like Fable, or is it more of a turn based RPG?

Is it an open world RPG like Fable.  I still haven't got very far into it as I am still in the prologue but the combat has been real time thus far, with a blocking feature for sword and shield combat.  If anything, you could always buy a used copy of it to see if you like it and then return it if you don't like it- that's what they told me at Game Stop.  Or you could simply rent it.  At any rate, I enjoy it thus far and it seems to be a solid RPG.

I'll just get it from gamestop free of charge; I work for them, and I'm allowed to rent games for free from them. I've never actually used that benefit before, but perhaps I should.

Ahh, I missed that perk from working for Gamestop.  :D

It's convenient to have, though I've never actually utilized it before.

It's nice to know it's there. I'm glad I used it on FFXII, because I was sold on it, but then found out it was crap. If you are unsure about a title, check it out before you pick it up.

I also worked at Game Crazy, and they allowed you to try out the games in the store. I took advantage of that too. In fact, it was how I tried out the first Two Worlds.
