The Silver Lining Epidode 4 -- Release Date?

Hi. I been browsing through these forums and I decided to ask the question when will The Silver Lining Episide 4 be released.

Is it currently in production? I googled for infomation, but cannot find any. Please let us know. Thank you,

Hello and welcome Shalkar! Episode 4 is indeed in production, but we have not announced a release date yet. We want to be sure it's ready, looking great, and as bug-free as we can get it before we release it. We are hoping to have more information to announce soon.

Believe me, we're in production now like we've never been in before.  We have people doing better work for free than most companies can get out of their employees paying competitive salaries.  It's really very impressive and things are coming together nicely but we do also want to be sure we have a handle on everything before we tie ourselves to a date we might have any trouble with later on.

I have been wondering... Are the bug fixing issues for Episode 4 retroactive? Meaning, will this release make Episode 3 less buggy?

Yes.  Anything that we do to make the game in general more stable will apply to previous episodes as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that require a full download of Eps 1-4 as a set, or could the stability be improved with a mere Ep 4 upgrade patch? I know there are augment patches and replacement patches (my terms), so I'm wondering if it'll just require a patch, or a full install.

The fixes would be built into the patch that would install Episode 4 onto computers that already have 1-3 on them.  And naturally it would also be in the full download as well.

Ok. So there will be a full (4 Episode install) version. Cool. That's the one I would want.
