Looking for fellow gamers

While I love Kings Quest and all things Sierra, I'm sure I can't be the only one with varied gaming tastes.  Does anyone else ever play on xbox live?  I'm a big fan of the Halo and Left 4 Dead games, so I'm always looking for new folks to play with.  My gamertag is xEViLBOOMSTiCKx, so feel free to add me.

Also, any WoW fans?  Despite the game being around forever now it seems I'm actually rather new to it.  I'm still trying to learn to play, but I created a human paladin called Aidendale.  I've actually modeled him after the hero in Quest for Glory, hence the name Aidendale.  As I said though, I'm still learning so I'd appreciate help from anyone else here who plays the game.
The shows in my mind are almost always better...

I have a gamertag myself, though I try not to put it out in the open a lot. I prefer to keep it between my friends. As for other games; oh yeah. some of us are big gamers. I work in a gamestop in addition to Phoenix Online and a grocery store. I'm a big fan of Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Portal, Heavy Rain, Batman Arkham Asylum... the list goes on.

Ditto.

I have a gamertag, but it's only through Games for Windows Live, since I don't have an Xbox. I have a PS3, PC, PSP, DS, and a Wii that is currently collecting dust until Skyward Sword is released. I used to play WoW, but have decided to take a break indefinitely, till a substantial reason to go back arises. I'm into games just as much as the next guy, but the only two things that I don't have is an Xbox and an active WoW account. Sorry.  :-\

I actually like the PS3 a lot more now. I'm leaning towards it more and more lately. I'm finishing up the Mass Effect trilogy on the Xbox 360 because I already have a save from the first game imported into the second, and I can't wait to have it imported into the third... all those choices I forgot I made all the way back in one are gonna come back to bite me lol. A lot of other multi-platform games I've gotten on the PS3; I feel like the graphics and overall performance is better. I will say though that the Xbox 360 has a much better (and bigger) online network, so if I do play any online games, it's most certainly through my xbox.

The only reason I kept my Wii around was specifically for Skyward Sword; after I've beaten that game, my Wii and all of it's games are going right back to Gamestop for store credit towards some other system. I may even wait until an employee only trade-event... I love those things...

Yeah, my Wii will go away after Skyward Sword as well. I invested so much money into it, and now I'll be coming up short in the console's value. C'est la vie. I have been playing Mass Effect on my PC, but before ME3 comes out, I want to try and make a quick progression through both ME1 and ME2 to make the right decisions for each quest and character. It's been a long time coming for this series, so I don't want to mess it up. Call it OCD, but it's just how I roll.  :P

No, I understand completely. If I recall correctly, there was a series of save files for Mass Effect 1 on the PC that offered all possible variations in choices so you don't have to replay everything; there may be a similar option for mass effect 2... Worth looking into at least.

Yeah, I've seen those. They are pretty precise too. They have save files down to a "T" of what you want, but I still feel obliged to play through the games myself. If I can get a full run from ME1 to ME3, then I might play the save files to see alternate paths of the story.

I have all three consoles but I barely play them anymore, unless there's a good exclusive title I'm interested in. I got them before I upgraded my computer (and when I used to live in a building where my computer was all the way in the basement, not very good for gaming). Now that I've upgraded and my computer is readily accessible I don't really play my consoles that much anymore. Last one I played was MK9.

I can't stand Halo, though. And L4D is far better on the PC. You will also never catch me paying to play games online with the XBL service.
