Should Graham's appearance ever be changed?

Sir Perceval of Daventry

"As is his habit, King Graham began his day with a stroll through the forest to Lake Maylie where a vigorous swim dissolved the last sticky threads of sleep from his brain, and the morning fuzz from his eyes. He says his dawn exertions keep his body firm and his thoughts clear....
Graham is no longer the slim knight that scampered up a narrow beanstalk to the Land of the Clouds. The decades have filled him out, but with hard muscle, not soft flesh. His eyes are not quite what they used to be, and he would no longer care to attempt at outrunning an ogre, but he is still in splendid physical condition. Although unshaven by preference, he looks like the Monarch he is."--KQ Companion, KQ5 novel.

"An older man, but very stout"--KQ5 hint book's description of Roberta's conception of Graham during the era of KQ5.

Graham was 19 during KQ1. KQ7 marked the 25th year of his being King, and so during the time of KQ5-7, he is 43-44 years old.

In KOS, we have Graham designed as being around his mid to late 30s.  Black hair with streaks of gray and a handsome, youthful, but lined face.

Dear God. WHY INTERNET?  WHY???

on topic, I honestly think Graham could look anyway he wants as long as we get the blue hat/red feather, red tunic, blue pants and boots.  You could put Graham in a different outfit for a little while, sure, but I think you'd always have to have him start out in a classic outfit.

Hey, I haven't posted anything that you can't see in public on any given hot summer day at the beach or in redneck farm country.   ;D

You haven't gone above PG-13, no. But I'm just trying to figure out the sudden weird obsession!

It's not sudden.  It's just that no one has brought up the subject of woolly chest-rugs before.

Yes, minus the sh***y beard.  ;)

Oh MAN.

So, I was doing my daily mid-afternoon Google search for pictures of studly man-breast follicles, when I stumbled upon THIS, the Holy Grail of chest hair photos.

I present to you, in all his burly, handle-bar mustachioed glory, Mark Twain.

Now, to be totally honest, I'm not sure whether or not this photograph is real and undoctored, but either way, HOT DAMN.  And I thought just his mustache was awesome!

Oh, and also, the chest hair blog where I found the picture is definitely worth a long look.  This dude is definitely a man after my own heart.

Yeah, that seemed like his work. He's awesome. He designed a bunch of our characters, especially the main good ones.

If he's doing your portraits, yes, I can see how you claim them to be incredible. I recognize his work miles away :)

Yeah, the Graham portrait especially (and Valanice, too, actually) we spent a lot of time as a group passing it back and forth and bouncing ideas off one another, making tweaks etc., to get it to exactly fit our vision of the character at that time of his life.  I think we all feel a bit of ownership over it, even though Jon certainly did the majority of the actual portrait.  ;)
