GOG has a sale going on this weekend. Looks like an awesome bunch of games. I'm already sold on Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Neverwinter Nights, but has anybody played the other games? I like the fact that you can pick and choose which games you want, and it alters the price based on your choice, but would the entire package be worth it in your opinion?

From what I heard:

- Dragonshard It's an RTS and it's set in Eberron. I know nothing of this game.

- Demon's Stone More action-oriented like the ones you find in consoles, less in term of story. You play one of three predetermined characters (Fighter, Mage or Thief), but you do have uniques skills you can upgrade.

- Temple of Elemental Evil Similar to Bioware's game on D&D, but combat is turn-based rather than real-time with pause. At the time of release, they say the game was the most fateful take on D&D 3rd edition rules. Look for fan-made mods and fixes on the internet.

- Planescape: Torment Set in Planscape setting. Most people say it's the best cRPG story ever, although I wouldn't know since I never played. It's a complete a deconstruction of the RPG troeps. Very dark and very much gray. You play a predetermined character and must choose between Fighter, Thief, Mage (but you can switch class as you progress). The game has lots of conversations and combat is not always the best way to handle things.
