Stuck onboard ferry, ep1

I've proven myself and have supposedly gone to sea. A map appears and have my choice of isles to be ferried to. Go to the island and that's it. Stuck in map screen. See no button to exit it. Any help would be appreciated.

When you get to the right part of the island you're heading to it will automatically switch out of the map screen.  Sail around the edges of the island a bit and you'll see.
