I might have missed an article or two on this particular project, but all this talk has made me wonder what the implications of your budget will entail. Are there going to be episodes that will be released on a timely basis? If so, is the budget you are building up only set on one episode or is it a projected budget for the entire project? Now that you are working on other projects, is Corridor 9 still coming down the pike? Finally, depending on the success of this project, will you quit your day job? Please answer accordingly. Thank you.  ;D

Yes, no, Yes, no, no, yes, no, yes, no yes.

We have a budget for the full game, the KS campaign is to help ep1. for Dates, our goal is to find a way to release every subsequent episode a month after the previous one, but we still need to figure that one out.

Corridor 9 is my baby, so yes, it will come. Don't know when, but it will happen. It's a story that I've been working on for a while.

I already quit my day job. For a year and a bit now :) So has my co-Director, Richard Flores. For everyone else, that's the plan, until we eventually and hopefully manage to get an office, which is a dream I've had for years.

I'm still at my day job...and counting the days! :)

Haha, now if we could just all agree on where to have that office!

This project is going to be just totally huge for us.  We're all going to be putting 150% into making it an amazing experience for the fans and players in lots of different ways.  I really think you people are going to love watching this project come to life.  It's a huge shift to go from something like TSL where we've been messing with it for a decade and our only real budget was time to Cognition where we're going to be paying people and working under deadlines.  But we're ready to make it happen.

It sounds like it's going to be an amazing experience, both for you guys and us. I said this before, but I wish you guys the best of luck. This will be your moment to shine. You're working with raw content, so you won't be dealing with fan fiction or cease and desists. You guys will be judged on what you can do as a team. Don't disappoint.  ;)

Based on what we've accomplished with TSL, I imagine we'll do just fine in the commercial sector. It is uncharted territory for us, but we're ready for the challenge. We've already accomplished so much, and we feel it's time we challenged ourselves. We've enjoyed making this game for you all, and we really want to continue making games for you. I can't say for sure what the future holds for any of us. I can say this though: With such a dedicated and talented team, there's nothing we can't do, so long as we set our sights on it.

Hi guys & girls,

I have a few questions, if it's ok.
I read in another thread something about Cognition being a 4 episodes game, correct?
How long (play-time) will each episode be (assuming they'll be of the same duration)? And would one need to play all 4 episodes to conclude the story?
How much will each episode cost? Are you considering a different/ lower price for the whole pack?

If these questions have already been answered somewhere, please point me to that direction.

Hello, there! It's still a bit too early to answer any of these questions, but as soon as we have that info ourselves we'll let you know.

I don't have a day job, just college classes.

But I'm usually poking Richard Flores for more work so we can get all our games going. :D

Hi!

I have one more question, please, and apologies if this info is somewhere I missed.
Is the game going to have any kind of DRM and if yes, which one?
