I like my guys to be either:

1. A little chubby.

2. Just enough muscle tone to look fit.

And medium-to-large boned/build for either.

None of that body-building muscle-y stuff. Yech. And skinny guys are no fun to hug. A skinny guy's gotta have some muscle on him to be worth it.

Same with me for girls.  Too skinny ones are no fun to hug.  If I wanted to hug a rake, I would.

As for a couple minutes in the gym, totally did that, but I lost it all when I went to sleep.  Now I'm a fatty again.

In all my travels I've only met one guy who actually liked the thread-thin look of fashion models. All other guys like the normal look, as we guys look normal(read: semi-chubby to chubby).
Sure it looks good with a fit and toned look, and it feels good to have it, but to go further than that takes too much time and energy(and a lot of times money) to make it worth it. It also isn't attractive to have a toned body and look good like that, if your attitude and personality don't go with it. A cocky, arrogant, self-centered girl with a sexy or beautiful face and a good looking body, is not even on my list of desireable women.
  Seriously if your attitude stinks, I'd want to be with you as much as I'd want to work in a sewer with a good paint job.
