[FIXED]Episode 4 loads, but only black screen (Category: Graphics)

Hello!

I'm running XP sp3 and I installed the episode 4 patch. The game loads, I see the intro but when I'm suppose to start playing, I only see a black screen but can have access to all the menus... How do I fix this?

Try running the game's configuration tool and lowering the graphics settings - if that doesn't have any impact then there might have been some random glitch during patching and you'll want to try uninstalling what you currently have and then re-installing the full four-episode installer to a different directory like C:\TSL or something like that.

when i try to open thee game it says "Hardware failed to switch to the specified mode" then once i click ok it closes and i try to open it again it just says it has stopped working until i restart the computer again.

Please post more information on your computer, like how much RAM you have, what version of Windows you're using, what video card you have, and how much video memory it has.
