"Practice" is correct for American spelling... I think the British spelling might be "practise".

My dictionary says the verb is spelled practise, and the noun is spelled practice, so my guess was correct. 8)

Hmm, is it considered poor practice to practise spelling practice with an s?  I wouldn't find it very practical, since I use a c in practically all instances of it.

I think that would be the noun, since 'makes' is supposed to function as verb in that sentence. 8)
