[NON-ISSUE]Auto Saving a problem in episode 4 (Category: Save/Load)

Hello I am having Auto saving problems when I get to the box puzzle.  I am having problems solving the box puzzle, but I thought I would get this annoying save issue dealt with first. Up to this point I have not had a saving problem. I was using the episode 4 patch and had never upgraded episode 3 because i had no saving problems then. First I tried deleting the game putting it in c:\tsl folder. No success.  Then I deleted the game again and this time I loaded the complete 1-4 build. Still no good. I have my saved game outside
the arch druids hut but after the cutscenes there are no autosaves. Also when I click on either save or restore
those boxes do not come up.How does the autosaving work in this area?  I Don't want to have to go through the cut scenes every time to get to  the box puzzle. Also I want to know that once I do solve this puzzle I won't have more auto saving problems later on in the game. Also I have run the game as an administrator
and that didn't help either. Please help?

Wait, when you click the Save or Restore options nothing comes up at all?  I'm a bit confused by that statement as you say you've restored your game that was saved by the arch druid's hut.  There is an autosave that happens when you first go to the crypt where the puzzle is, but that's just in case you die there and have to Retry - it's not directly accessible via the Restore menu.  After you finish the puzzle you'll get another autosave that can actually be accessed directly via the menu so you won't have to play through all of the end-game stuff without any chance to save at all.

Thank you for your response. So you say the auto save in the crypt is not accessible in the restore menu.
It is only available via the retry button in the death screen. So that means that I will have to go through the cutscenes everytime to reach the crypt box puzzle. It is great to know, however, that there is an autosave after you have solved the box puzzle. I am really enjoying the game.
