Yeah, man.  We're not doctors.   She needs a doctor.  Sounds like the problem is more psychological than physiological, so yeah - she needs to see a doctor.

I agree. There's something more to it to me too

Yeah, there are iron pills for people who are anemic (if she is anemic.  Arkillian is right, there should be blood tests and other signs.  For all we know, you just think she's looking a bit too thin).  That said, though, I'm pretty comfortable agreeing that there's something else going on here.  There definitely could be some psychological stuff going on and she might benefit from seeing someone.

But here's the thing.  You can't change anything.  I'm guessing that you've already told her you think she should eat more.  That obviously didn't change anything.  So telling her that some guys on an internet discussion board won't change anything either.  She's going to do what she's been doing, and that includes not eating and blaming you in whatever dysfunctional cycle you two have got going (this is, what, the third or fourth topic centered on an issue between the two of you?  I think the relationship needs more than a balanced diet and iron pills, but that's just me.)  Whatever the case, you can't force her to see a doctor or a therapist.  But maybe you'd benefit from seeing a therapist to talk out some of these continuing relationship issues.  You might not be able to help her, but maybe you can help yourself a bit more.

If you gain 14 lbs in a few weeks, she totally "toke you seriously".  If I toked that seriously, I'd totally gain 14 lbs in a few weeks.

Maybe it's what she needed to hear. After all, your partner's health is a big concern for you, in any relationship.

Still, what's important is that her habits change in the long-term, not just as a temporary fix. I hope that's what happens here.

was that to harsh?

If you look at it in retrospect, you got the results that you were looking for. But it's definitely a fragile topic of discussion. When it comes to weight, eating habits, or eating disorders, nobody wants to hear that they aren't good enough. So I would have been a little more gentle with my reaction if I were you, but like I said, all is well that ends well. No harm done, right?
