It's always fun to dress up, that was the only reason I went to homecoming in high school.  :P

I <3 Connor but he is beyond my reach!

I love dressing up too.  However, once every few months is enough for me (and it doesn't even happen THAT often).  For us girls: hair, nails, dress = EXPENSIVE.

inverted what do you mean with dressing up? I wear a suit everyday, but it's not that I have the feeling I dress up  :-\

It's nice to see a guy in a suit...that kind of dressing up.  But Inverted may have been talking about actually wearing a tux...which is what is usually worn during homecoming and prom.  Rob, if you wear a suit everyday, it may have gotten to feel so natural for you, that it doesn't feel like dressing up. *shrugs*

[whispers to Rob]suits are nice  ;D [/whispers]

Nice to select, nice to have tailored and nice to wear (horrible on the wallet mind!)
When cities burn and armies turn,

But warriors know it in their marrow when they die and fall,

fortunate I got my first 2 suits from my parents (1 for my graduation (5 years ago) and 1 for my sis wedding (3 years ago) the others were indeed expensive  :-\

I agree...any fancy clothing is going to be expensive.  I was glad to find my prom dress on sale and then on clearance on top of that...I SO need to find the pic that I have with me in it a couple summers ago...But I've looked all over--and can't seem to find it.  I'm a little upset over that one. :-\

As I said, despite the expenses of acquiring a fancy suit/dress they do look good. I am the only person I know who needs to where a suit before he can look smart!

I find almost all of my many suits at the good will. Cheap, nice condition, the benifits never end!

I think fancy clothing is worth spending loads on though. Especially suits and the like, its not like you (meaning me) would wear it often so it'd last for aaaaages. Can't wait to get my first tailored suit too, trousers are ALWAYS too long or short and blazers/jackets are always too long too :(

Say

guys who dress up good =  lovely <3

guys who dress up good AND take care of themselves= THE BEST <3 <3 <3

you don't always need a suit to look good, you actually can groom yourself and look good even in jeans, it all depends I guess :P

Probably depends on what a girl is attracted to.  Me, I agree with you, Say.  A guy doesn't have to be in a suit to look nice.  For me, as long as the guy grooms himself, I think he would be attractive to me whether he's in jeans or a suit...or somewhere in between!!  XD
