What a great show!!!!! Anyone watching it?

It's a nonstop intensity to the max. Such a great editing, and storytelling! I haven't been in love of a TV show like this one for quite a while!

My sister watched it, and she told me what the pilot was about, and I wasn't that interested. Is it really good? It seemed like there was a lot of melodrama between the couple. I assume that can be endured, but their backstory instantly had me turned off.

I wanted to check it out, but my list of shows was too big and I just never got around to it. Haha, I have a feeling now I'll be getting 'Watch American Horror Story!' as a homework assignment from Cez ;)

The show has a lot of style to it. And the intensity of the show escalates with every episode. There are some episodes that are simply non-stop in twists and turns and crap happening all around. Everybody I've shown it to or talked to about it is loving it to pieces. Really, it's a show not to miss. Jessica Lange is FANTASTIC in it! And Zachary Quinto as a gay evil ghost was awesome, too!

And yes, Katie, you should watch it! :P

Lol...if you can endure TSL, you can endure this show.  Melodrama is big around here, remember?  ;)

Actually the show's not too bad--my wife is really into it.  I've watched it a few times and it gets a resounding "meh" from me.  Not bad, but just never quite grabbed me.  Walking Dead is a lot better in my opinion (though the two shows really are like apples and oranges.)

I bet you can't wait for Telltale's Walking Dead game, eh Lamb?

Haha...is that sarcasm?  As with all things Telltale, I will approach it with extreme caution, until enough reviews from people who I know have similar tastes as me tell me otherwise.  ;)

I definitely prefer this show to Walking Dead so far, but there's no denying WD is a great show, too!

I'm really enjoying this show right now and all the characters.  Tate in particular is just equal parts fantastic, disturbing, and a petty, whiny teenager.  And the psychiatrist is just delightfully slimy, yet manages to be a touch sympathetic.  Personally, I love any show where my mind starts racing and I can start trying to figure out where the plot is going and what the twists are going to be.  And, for the record, I'm usually pretty good at that, but the revelation of who the latex daddy was last episode caught me completely off guard.

The one thing about the show, though, is that even though it's interesting, I don't see how it can be maintained for more than a season or so.  It's very rich in plot, but once the plot points are resolved, where do they go?  Plus, how do the writers justify the characters in this house year after year despite what they're going through?  But those are issues for the future.  Right now, the show is really enjoyable and fascinating to watch for me.  Anyone feel like trading theories on what's going on and where the plot is going?

So I saw last night's episode and then did some reading up about the show on wikipedia, and yeah, I'll be checking out previous episodes on demand over the winter hiatus, I think!
