[FIXED]Episode 3 tower crash (Category: Save/Load)

I am in the tower in episode 3. Before I could close the door the shadow got me. When I hit retry Graham dissappeared but the game is still acting like he is there. I cannot grab the torch, or do anything. Also the save is not working so I cant restore to before this point. help please

You shouldn't be able to save or restore manually during the tower scene at all.  Do you have a saved game from before starting the tower sequence that you can load up?

no I dont. the game doesnt allow me to save.
I have had a similar issue throughout the game. when i die then i hit retry graham still appears dead but will still "walk" around (more like floats) until I perform another action like talking to someone. then he returns to normal. this time instead he just disappered entirely. is there a way that I can reinstall or something so that i can save future games?

ok i ran it as an administrator and it appears i can save now
wish i had figured this out sooner lol
ah well gives me an excuse to play the whole episode again. great job by the way! the story is truly fantastic. so glad someone did this because there really needed to be a better ending to this story

please tell me that gabriel knight 4 is next for you!! please please please
that had to be my all time favorite series and the way they ended it was not fair. Totally needed a fourth
