I got my best grades in English, IIRC. Anyway, usually I got about 65%, and AFAIK that's not too bad for someone who has such a cwappy memory like mine and who doesn't spend a lot of his free time learning his courses.

I used to be a straight-A student... until I had problems with depression starting from middle school and my grades plummeted somewhere into the basement because of it.

But Koko kicks butt... I'm heartily impressed with anyone who can hold down a perfect or near-perfect GPA in college.

Well, thankees Jeysie and CC!  I try, my goodness, it's tough work!  Ya'll saw how upset I was when I thought I'd lost it!  lol...I'm so excited! (Have I said that yet? well, I'll just repeat myself!)

I have marks that cover the entire scoring spectrum.

Me too!  Actually, I don't think I've gotten an "F" yet, but I have gotten E's which are pretty much F's except that E's are equivalent to a 1.0 rather than a 0.  My school's a 10 point system and a D is a 3.0 I believe.

Yes, the teacher has to keep you interested, and if (s)he is rehearsing things you already know by heart (sort of speak) that's not good.

The sad part is, the teacher "rehersing" thing continues into univeristy and even the work force. It never ends.

I don't have a teacher rehearsing anything to me anymore, I do that myself.
What is true though is that you have to keep learning new things, in most jobs, especially those where you have to use your brain cells.

When you're seated at the front of the classroom, that's a no-go.

Hmm well you can interpret "teacher" as someone that you can learn things from, and I'm sure there are people that try to tell you things that you already know.   But I agree that you have to learn new things in every job you have, and that learning doesn't stop when school does.

There are still a lot of people I can learn things from. Anyway, as far as rehearsing things go, that's also happening on tv/radio/ceefax. You hear something on the readio, or read something on ceefax and a few days later it's rehearsed on the tv-news.
In my work situation though, I can't think of someone trying to 'teach' me something I already know.
