Ha! I didn't even know about that one. Nice!
Quote from: DawsonJ on February 19, 2012, 07:52:13 PM... and, of course, the two KQ5 references: the disrespected owl and the imitation Yeti feet. (Listen to Ersatz' comment. ;)
Oh, wow. I knew that owl looked familiar, lol. And I never caught that yeti reference before either. Good finds!

You know, when I was reviewing this video before uploading it, I was positive that I had mentioned the rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle, but apparently I didn't. Shame on me.

Episode 7 is available now!

Chugging along; episode 8 is up!
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Likely, the disguise appeared for Rosella by means of the King's magic.  He seems to have more abilities than he lets on.  Immediately after his comment about Rosella's need for a disguise, the garment appeared.

If that explanation doesn't do it for you, then chalk that piece of the game up to "Nintendo Logic".  Video games do lots of things that only make sense if you understand the nebulous concept of "Nintendo Logic".  :P

Enchantermon

You know, I never even considered the possibility that the king made that appear. That really does seem to be the only logical conclusion.

And hah, Nintendo Logic. True enough.

Episode 9! Let the anachronisms commence! ;)

Better late than never, right? :P Episode 10!

Episode 11 is live! Almost to the end...

Cool! So what's next on your agenda? Are you going to do what Aardvark4Lunch merely started with MoE? I'd like to see you play that without codes - the skeletons with crossbows killed me when I omitted the Console and cheats.

Arkillian

I'm not really keen on a MoE walkthrough. I'm sure that it's fun to play, but it's not fun to watch due to it's dynamic being more action focused than story focus :( I've watched an MoE walkthrough before and found myself skipping forward. I mean, if Enchantermon had interesting things to say, I'd watch for that, but not the game in this case.

I understand your viewpoint; I feel the same.  But, I would like to see how he handles certain parts of the game, without the console/debug mode. The game's story was sorely lacking for me, too.  It's just the "Hmm..." factor that makes me ask. :)

In reality, it's just a countdown until he covers TSL. !!!

Arkillian

I approve of idea number 2 :D Or Cognition when it's done ^^

Enchantermon

I do plan on doing MoE. I kind of flip-flopped about it because of the nature of its gameplay, as has been stated above, but in the end, I decided to just go for it. I'll do my best to be entertaining. :) And I definitely will be playing without codes. I'm kind of nervous about it because this will only be my second time playing through the entire thing, so I'm not sure how it will go. But we'll see.

And yes, I do plan on taking on TSL afterwards; I'm betting it'll be done by the time I get through Mask and the four chapters out now. And Cognition will be on the list as well. :)

Episode 12 is up!

The finale! Episode 13 is live!

Expect King's Quest VIII.....sometime. :P I'm having issues with the graphics that I'm trying to work out, but as soon as I have it running properly, I'll start recording.

And by the way, thank you everybody for watching! :) I've been enjoying this quite a bit and I hope you have been as well!

It is because the King OUTRIGHT has magical ability. Matilda his keeper has magic and he has a bag of magic powder and a magic staff.

I think creating a magic black cloak is a bit in line with what he can do.
