[FIXED]Unable to see scroll after talking to Shamir in ep4 (game crashes) (Category: Misc)

I was playing ep4 of TSL and enjoying it immensely but after I talked to Shamir which took a really long while loading Graham takes out the scroll and starts to look at it. I can hear something being drawn but the scroll is blank then I get a message that an error has occurred and that the game must be closed. This is not the first time this happened. At the end of ep3 just before the final cutscene the game crashed as well. I have a laptop with Windows XP on it and an Intell 2ghz processor and DirectX I also updated my falshplayer and got adobe shockwave or something as recommended on this forum. I also set the graphics to a lower resolution but that doesn't seem to work cause I can't see any difference. Anyway after all that it still crashes so do you guys know what it is and what i can do about it. Or if nothing can be done about it than does anyone have a savegame for after you looked at the scroll and it showed whoever it was going to show.

I loaded an earlier save (when I got the fruit) and played on from there. No problem witht he scroll, finished it. Box puzzle and especially fight with Shadrack wer way too hard imo but otherwise great game. Still I wonder why it crashes so often cause come to think of it the game crashed before several times and yes back then it also helped to load an older save (except for at the end of ep3) but that's still not normal I think. So does anyone have any ideas?
