Say: Partly the fact that they're everywhere, mostly the fact that I worked at Dunkin Donuts for about 10 months total (4 months at one franchise, 6 months at another), and it wasn't exactly the greatest experience. The one I worked at for 6 months had the worst boss I've ever had. :P

If there is, it's definately not here... there's one on the street next to where I live :-\ Never bought anything there though - it looked too pricey for me, and I don't like coffee anyways, except for those big cups of ice coffee I used to get at the university... nothing kept me awake better than them at boring lectures :P

Now that's just not true. Maybe they didn't draw them on nice little graphs, but I'm pretty sure that since the dawn of man people could perceive all 4 dimensions ;)

ok 3 dimension i understand that but wtf is 4 dimension ???

The 4th dimension is time.  But I don't see how people could understand it if clocks didn't exist.  I mean, they knew about day and night, but they definitely didn't know any quantum physics.  ;B

The 4th dimension is time. Or rather, the 4th dimension of spacetime is time, if you want to get all technical and stuff.

Edit: Grah, Yonkey beat me to it, 'cause my connection's all slow 'cause I'm downloading stuff. ;P

So you cant draw 4 dimensions ;D, is there a 5 dimension ???

Sure there is.

 :suffer:

Nah, I think it stops at 4.  But there are probably some sci-fi books called "The Fifth Dimension" or something.  ;D

Actually you can.  If you draw a circle now, then draw the exact same circle in an hour, it exists both in the "present" and the past.  But, since time is always increasing and never stops, it's impossible for something to exist in exactly one point in time.

I didnt think there was a 5 dimension :P

BTW in other words its impossible to draw 4 dimension :P

they don't have to, they were smart enough to understand that if they would meet each other at a certain spot (ie. location = 3 dimensions) they wouldn't see each other unless they are there at the same time (4th dimension).

2000 years ago they already had hours and so (iirc), so they ahd a pwetty good deffinition of time i should say

Time and dimensions are very natural concepts - people could probably understand them even before they began counting/drawing them. The first humans capable of thought could probably understand the difference between "here" and "there" (dimension), and "now" and "later" (time) ;)

You can't draw the 4th dimension on paper, but you could represent it by a series of graphs (creating an animation).
And as any Linear Algebra studant know, there is an infinite number of dimensions, but in our world we only use 4 of them, and only draw 3 ;)
