Episode 1 was leaked online... it is all of the amazing things!

EDIT: "leaked" is somewhat inaccurate--Nick put it up on a press site with a password protection and somewhat leaked or guessed the password. ::)

I had no idea what this was, and found out it was a sequel of sorts to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Why can't Nickelodeon produce a sequel series to something good, like "Mysterious Cities of Gold"?!?!

You didn't like Avatar? The series, of course, not the movie. That was shite.

Nah, I liked the film Avatar, but think the animated series is gloop.

Now Mysterious Cities of Gold.... that was awesome.

I..buh...wha? Does not compute!

I vaguely recall cities of gold...I recognize some of those characters, but can't really remember anything about the show.

Heh, yeah, it was on Nickelodeon when I was a kid.  It's about a boy, Esteban, who travels from Spain to South America and ends up looking for the Mysterious Seven Cities of Gold.  He and his friends find a flying vehicle the Incas made, shaped like a bird.... it was just a crazy adventure show for kids, and a co-production between a Japanese Animation Studio and a French Company.   As a child, it was my first exposure to Japanese Animation.

I think there's some episodes on YouTube.  Worth a glance at, from a historical standpoint if you enjoy Japanese Animation.

I liked David the Gnome.  Anyone remember that show?

The giant blue people movie, Katie; not that thing they made out of the animated series.

At least, that's my interpretation.

Blackthorne

Correct Delling.  I'm talking James Cameron's flick, not the Last Airbender M. Night Shamalyan debacle.

Also, the end of David the Gnome is one of the most powerful finales I have ever seen in a children's animated series.

Phew! You really had me worried, Bt.

I can't recall the finale of David the Gnome. I'm not entirely sure I saw it. My memories of that show are more general--I know I watched it, but specifics of it elude me now.

I came into this thread to remove a spam post, but also, man, Legend of Korra is getting good! Lin Bei Fong is a total badass. It took a week or so at first for me to get into the groove of the show--it's not the same lighthearted fun and humor that Last Airbender was, but the characters are older and facing a different sort of threat, so that really does make sense. It's different, and the characters are getting more interesting, I'm really enjoying it!
