Cesar, Romano Molenaar, and myself did a podcast interview with Radford from Lazy Tech Guys about Cognition!

Radford from LTG happened by our kiosk at GDC and love what he saw--we hadn't even spoken or scheduled an interview prior to, but he did a write-up about us that very day and we then got to talk with him for almost an hour last week about the game, it was a great time!

Enjoy the podcast!

There's some really interesting information in there. The part I found most interesting was the concept of having dialogue "branches" that allow the player to actually choose to change certain details in the game. It should make for some replayability in the game! Should we expect dialogue choices to drastically change the way that the rest of the episode's narrative plays out?

The finer details about the post-cognition power was intriguing too. I'm looking forward to seeing the trainer lady (Rose?). Regression was a neat concept too. I wonder if players will have the option for Erica to use her powers for a more selfish nature, like Erica using that regression power to learn a truth from a person and then she'd lie to the person about what actually happened. Or maybe Rose will offer to train Erica in a rather shady form of post-cognition power which might offer shortcuts through the episode at the cost of losing something or someone precious in the story.

Great podcast! Got me thinking of the possibilities you guys have up your sleeves
