I know :o, that's the only part about that movie I dislike. Aside from that though, it was quite good IMO.

A movie I enjoyed recently was Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. From what I understand, there were a lot of people who didn't care for it, but I thought it was a lot of fun! The visual style was really cool.

I saw Superman Returns a couple days ago, and it was pretty awesome! ;D  Out of all the movies I saw this summer, finally I watched one that was actually good.  Anyway, I highly recommend seeing it. :)

I just saw The Devil Wears Prada. It was much better than I expected, and Meryl Streep was awesome in it. If you want to have a good time (oh, and if you LOVE fashion), I highly recommend seeing it!  ;D

I don't care what anyone says!!  Pirates Of The Caribbean 2 was awesome!!  Hopefully, the third one will be good, too.  Apparently, they already have the third one filmed and everything.  http://imdb.com/title/tt0449088/

I hadn't seen the first one, so I wasn't sure if I should see the second or not.  Should I rent the first one before seeing the second? ???

I wouldn't know since I haven't seen the second yet...but I think you should. Joel Seigle (sp?) says that PotC2 is better than the first...but you might want the back story! :P

I think I'm seeing PotC2 on Sunday, but possibly tonight. XD

I read a review about it that wasn't so great, and reminded me a lot of how XMen3 was, so I don't think I'm going to see PotC2.

The first I may still rent though. XD

I read some interviews about it, and it didn't seem that good, but I'm not going to pass up an opportunity to see Orlando Bloom. :P Also, I usually like movies better than their reviews. As far as I'm concerned, if they don't have the same exact script with the same jokes, I'm all for it. :P

Normally, I would agree that I don't listen to movie critics, I prefer seeing movies for myself.  But, since I never saw the first one, and considering multiple critics have said this one wasn't up to par, I really don't feel like wasting $12 on it. XD

I've actually heard some people (even one movie critic) say it's better than the first. The Blur went to see it last week and said it was pretty good, but they did leave it open for the third film, which she didn't like.

Well I haven't seen it but my good old friend blew the ending for me so I'm not gonna bother going to see it. :-\

That sucks :-\ Someone did that to me with the ending of The Matrix Revolutions, and then there's my cousin who used to tell me the endings right in the middle of the movie. XD

Anyways, I saw POTC2 last night and liked it a lot. I wouldn't say that it's better that the original, but I wouldn't say it's worse either. It was a different movie from POTC1 rather than a rehash, which is good. Sequels that are practically the same movie as it's predecessor, are nowhere near as fun. The occasional reference to a past joke is of course okay as long as they don't go overboard. (No pun intended.)  :P

One of the major differences, it seemed to me at least, was the tone. It felt considerably darker than the original at some points, though it still had lots of silliness too.

As for the ending, which was awesome IMO, it's sure to make you anxious to see POTC3. They begin filming next month, YAY!

Please note that the Neverending Story is NOT a game! It is a book by Michael Ende and a series of three movies (the third rated pure rubbish) and a canadian TV Series called Tales from the Neverending Story. I do miss the movie, for it was one of my absolute favorite movies back when I was little. (Well, it wasn't too long ago now that I think about it... T'was only a few years since I had last seen it...) The Neverending Story was a very good movie, I heard the book was extremely good, though I have not read it before. I wish a fourth movie would be made, one to bring the whole concept back on track...
