I haven't seen Troy yet, but I'll probably see it soon.  :)

But, if you're going to rent a new movie, get The Last Samurai!  <3  I saw it at Christmas and it ruled!  !!!

Really?  For which movie:  Gladiator or The Last Samurai?

Another really nice rental we got last week was Kill Bill!  <3 One of these days I have to see Volume Two.  I think it might still be in theatres.

I got to goto a Private Showing of Troy before it was released to the public! Great Movie!

Other than that, the new aussies movie, Thunderstruck is funny, and Shrek2 and The Day After Tomorrow looks promising.  :)

And guess who gets advanced showings again!  :suffer:

I saw Troy this weekend, and that was definitely a good movie; the critics can bite me! Eric Bana was especially good, I thought! Go see that with my recommendations. :)

I'm looking forward to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I've already got my ticket for opening day!!  :D I  <3 Harry Potter.

I even love the trailer and everything "the bride is back" omg, the first part was so amazing, I cant wait to see second, I am aware that second (as mentioned by magazine reviews) is not to be expected to have so much action, but nonetheless, still a great movie to look foward! :D

Ah the summer movies.  Fun, fluffy fare.

The three I am most looking forward to are:

"Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (the 2nd movie was fantastic so I'm hoping the 3rd will be just as good).
"Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" - It just looks so cool and it has a fantastic cast.
"The Day After Tomorrow" - what can I say?  I'm a sucker for disaster flicks!

I saw "Van Helsing" and while everyone seems to think it was boring or just plain crap, I loved it!  I thought it was so much fun!  It is totally over the top and completely silly and that's why I liked it :D!

I haven't seen Kill Bill v.2 yet, but that's on my list as well.

My sister thought the same, Katie.  But after watching it the first thing she said was "Is Kill Bill 2 still in theatres!? !!!"  So yeah, I highly suggest watching it first.  ;D

For 3D animated films, Shrek was great, but my #1 fave is still Finding Nemo.  ;P

From what I heard from -fans- its because the anime is SO FREAKING GOOD that the movie pales to compare in reality to what the true scence of Van Helsing is, Im sooo getting the anime ! :D

Same -sort of- happened with Dare Devil and Witchblade (serie) my point is that that are -good- comics hits and such, yet once put on screen (movie or tv) not many worked out as good as Xmen :P

Some fans are very demanding... even more when the original concept IS excellent per se.
