I don't go to the movies that much. The last movies I saw in a theatre were Lord Of The Rings :-\ I usually wait for the movies to come to the TV, unless they're really special... and sometimes even then. That's why I'm so out-of-touch :-[

Recently saw "Troy".  Didn't mind it, wasn't overwhelmed by it.  Kierra Knightly's butt was my favorite part. :D

Saw "Van Helsing" yesterday. That's ten dollars and two hours of my life I'll never get back...:(

Hate to burst your bubble, James, but Keira Knightley wasn't in Troy...at least, not by what I saw...and from what I've just looked up on the internet...

Now that you mention it, I do not like war movies  :-X they really... just... I dont know, I remember these movies that BlackHawk thingy with Josh Harnet, and that other famous one with Ben Afflec... (see I dont even like them as to the point to freaking forget the real names lol) I did get to see them but personally I didnt like them :(, I do not like war or anything, the only one that I did wow... loved "The Pianist" omg, it was... so... wow... but it was more not from the point of view of the solder itself more like a tragic horrible... moment in history :( Troy was epic, it was amazing, same with other movies such as Gladiator and Ben Hur and such, they do have violence and conflict but there is somehow still that glam element about the gods, the king and stuff, its really the upside of that whole thing. I believe.

The only thing I EVER EVER LIKED about war was Band of Brothers, that serie of HBO, Because I am an HBO FREAK, I love Oz, q**** as a Folk, Band of brother and now I whine desperately cuz I want to see Carnivale and I wont be able to *cries*

My favourite movie about "War" was "Life is Beautiful."  Very moving.
"Apocalypse Now" was also good....it was very disturbing.

I also enjoyed Saving Private Ryan.  The beginning was so intense and graphic.  No glory in that.  I now at least partially understand why my Grandfather never talked about WW2. :S

Movies I'm looking forward to is "The Day After Tomorrow" (Out tomorrow...probably see it Sunday), "The Life Aquatic" (I looove Wes Anderson movies!), "Dodgeball" (Ben Stiller, hehehe), "The Terminal" (Saw an ad for it the other day...looks good), "Spiderman 2", and "The Chronicles of Riddick" (probably be stupid, but I'll probably see it anyhow. :D)

I'm hoping the extended version comes out soon.  My parents told me that it's my birthday present...if it waits until September to come out, though...not sure if I want to wait that long!

Oh!  Almost forgot...got to go see Shrek 2 last night.  That movie was awesome.  Also, Christine's boyfriend told us that the official release for X3 (X-Men 3) is Summer 2006--poo!  But supposedly they're going to make X3 and X4 at the same time (I didn't know that there WAS going to be an X4...just thought there was going to be 3...).  Can't wait for that one...just have a couple more years!
