It's not realistic. The reason alternative energy sources are fringe is really simple: energy density. It doesn't sound like this thing has the energy density to meaningfully replace the much denser forms of energy we currently use.


But!! If it infects something that has a variant of the common cold... ... viruses mutate, people. Enjoy your glowing snot. :yes: XD :P
