Anyone here play this game called the Saga of Ryzom?  It's at this page: www.ryzom.com

Looks interesting, but I'm wondering about paying the fee to download it. Any input?

You have to pay a fee to download it now? Hmmm... I got it in its free days of the open beta. Either way, it's pretty good, and slowly improving.

I Beta tested this for a few months earlier in the year. It was really crappy and then as is expected got better with time. I stopped playing out of boredome though which doesnt bode well seeing as this was at public beta stage...

If they can make the idea's they have there work (a nice magic system actually, bit out of the ordinary) it may just stand out of the crowd, although dont expect a FFXI type game, its decidedly western in its approach to the RPG genre.

Ah, looks like it's closed now, they're extending the beta because of all the bugs. Looks like weekends will still count as visiting hours though you can't do as much.
