- Watching DeceasedCrab's LP of Cocoron.
- Charging DS... for the second time today.
- Is wondering if she'll ever get any more readers of her KQ5 fanfic or her QFG1 fanfic besides two people.
- Is silently cursing Delling. Why? Well, a month or so ago, I sent him a message (and Sir Cray as well as per usual) saying "Hey, how this chapter 6 look to you?"
He responded by saying Graham needs to be more clever which I agreed.
...And that's where I got stuck. I couldn't think of ANYTHING! The closest I could think of, was having The Witch call out a bunch of forest monsters (wolves, man eating plants, owls, crows enc) to surround Graham and Cedric to rip them to shreds.
Cedric (who is a human mage in my story) brandishes his wand for combat, but Graham says "Cedric! Don't try to be a hero!"
Cedric replies, "Well, do you have any other bright ideas Graham?!"
Graham doesn't answer. He's too but trying to quickly formulate a plan in his head. C'mon think! Think! What would father do in this situation?
I stopped after that, because I couldn't think of any better situations for Graham to be clever and tempt The Witch (one of Delling' suggestions was having them run away, and Graham drops the lamp. But, Graham has the amulet, and Cedric knows a "Shield Spell" to protect himself so they both should be fine) or figure out a way to get them out of this currently written bad situation they're in.
The scene I'd thought up was similar to the scene in KQ2+ when I thought that a similar situation with The Witch would work: get rid of the leader with the Lamp, and the Bad Things would leave our two heroes alone. And also, because The Witch is gone, the forest would restore itself over the course of a day or two and turn the frogs back into humans.
Grrrr!
This isn't helped by the fact that we're moving soon, so I gotta focus on packing soon.
