-thinking I've found the "right" model to start one of my projects from...
So, G333 was worked on for ages by my adviser and now has been handed off to me. :-X
This however means that I have to dig through years of back-logged models. I've been working on one for a while... and it hasn't been working particularly well... so, now, it looks like I'm starting that over and trying to find the "right" starting point again. :S

-listening to Kathy Griffin...
-trying not to freak out about several things actually XD

-only just realizing that while I'm running around desperately trying to finish things up... both Matt and Mark Lang on my GRC are talking about my being a postdoc... (provided... you know... I finish) (I should be happier about this and more impressed with myself by it... unfortunately, I feel like this :stabs: is about to happen to me all of the time...)

-working on modeling ::)
-being tired, grumpy, and a little emotionally worn out :-\

-not actually looking forward to today despite it's being two of my officemates' birthday :-\

- Just finished reading through the scripts of the last few chapters of Memoria (the webcomic I mentioned a page or so back). My God... it is GLORIOUS! :D Such a happy ending for everyone!  :smitten: :partyhat:

- is secretly hoping that The Silver Lining has a happy ending as awesome as that!

- Is happy to know that, no matter how bad her stories get in terms of plot and characters, atleast they aren't as bad as My Immortal, Starkits Prophcy, My Inner Life, or The Eye of Argon.

Testing a game is an adventure in itself - the biggest puzzles are how to work around the critical bugs. :P

Yay for progress! :partyhat:
I think that's pretty much how research works - long periods of frustration with the occasional exciting discovery. :P

Went to the midnight premiere last night. It wasn't my favorite Pixar movie, but I enjoyed it.

- Just got back from seeing Brave, and IT. WAS. AWESOME!  ;D :D :) ;) For once, me and my grandma actually agreed that this movie was awesome! Usually it goes:

Me: :) That movie was awesome!

Grandma: *nods* Yeah, that was good. It was cute.

But now, it went:

Me: That movie was awesome!

Grandma: I know! I loved it!

- After reading through TV Tropes a bit, like I normally do, I was looking through the generic Pixar article and saw in the Heartwarming section, this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4a4MR8oI_B8

And I can't help but smile, knowing that these people care. Let me just say, I'm straight as an arrow from Merida's bow, and a Christian. But, that doesn't mean that I will persecute you or won't be friends with you just because you're different, because God is Love and as a follower of Him we're supposed to Love EVERYONE, right?

I consider myself a bit different as well. I have Aspergers Syndrome, although I didn't know until a few years ago. At first, I was really upset as I thought my behavior was "normal": I obsess over little things that shouldn't matter, for instance. I sometimes, when I was younger, took things a little too far in terms of imagination and actually acted as if something were real when it clearly wasn't (which is why I was never allowed to get into Pokemon or Harry Potter), and I admit I'm very... picky about certain things (like what I eat) and am against change. I'm very detail-oriented, but I procrastinate as well, and if something doesn't keep my interest I tend to let my mind wander halfway between listening to the lecture and thinking about something else.

You are not alone here. I love you all! :)

Oh dear, did I say too much?

And, is it just me? or does Merida's mother, Queen Elinor, remind anyone of Valanice (another character who is better at running the kingdom than her husband. Not to say that Graham is a horrible King, but... he wasn't raised to be one...)?

-being annoyed it won't let me reply to this thread.

EDIT: NOW it works, but when I try to copy-paste in the original post I wrote it still won't work. URGH.
