Hi everyone, I am back from my vacation to New Mexico. I also went to Texas to see my uncle, who I only met once in my lifetime when I was 3 years old. I don't really have any memeories of my uncle, I remeber vaguley meeting some wild scary guy when I was really little that my parents told me was bad, like the black sheep of the family. My mom's brother is an alcoholic and has used drugs, was in jail for duis. We were suprised he's still alive, he's about 70, and lucky to live so long considering a very unhealthy lifestyle, thank god he is alive and has found God, he still drinks some beer but not as heavy. My mom lost contact with him for like 27 years, and she found him, I guess my dad did not want him around us kids when we were growing up, there was a falling out. Well, he was living in an apartent for seniors that need finanncial help, it was pretty nice, but he had this mean, obnoxious naughty little yippy dog, like CUddles from KQ7, and the dog bit my mom on the leg!

After visiting with my uncle in Texas we went to New Mexico and COlorado, we road on trains, steam trains, this was my dad, mom and me. My dad likes trains, so for vacation we raod on steam trains they have for trourists and saw some very beautiful countryside. I also saw some pretty scenery whle in the car. New Mexico is not that pretty, but Colorado is. I saw a lot of pretty wildflowers growing by the road, and by the train tracks. I like flowers and plants, am a flower lover. We were in a park where they had a little garden with flowers and butterflies. Mom got some good photos of butterflies and flowers. We also got some good shots of mountains scenery and horses. There were rose bushes planted in the city area, some around the hotels we stayed at. I missed the chance to see Native American ceremony or village though, but enjoyed it anyway. I got a beautiful Native American doll, and miniture doll tea set, plus some other little dolls, Victorian style.

Welcome back, dragonprincess! We haven't seen you in quite a while :)

Sounds like an interesting vacation you had, to be certain.
