Has anyone seen the trailer for this Disney movie coming out in November?  As a story, it seems like a fun idea - a video game villain is tired of being the bad guy and leaves his game to try to be a hero. 

Unique, no.  But fun, I think.  And the video game character cameos?  I enjoyed them, especially during the group therapy session.

That movie looks perfect.  I haven't been to the theater in months (years, maybe), so I'm ready to see something worthwhile.  I'm still debating over Brave.  But this is a for sure watch.  Thanks for the link, kyranthia.

You know, i wasn't familiar with these games, but I will check 'em out.  It does seem something on those lines.

I hope Brave will be good, but I'm definitely not as jazzed for it as I am for this one.  Just by watching the trailer, I already made up my mind that I'm seeing it in theaters.

I never had a chance to play those games, so honestly I wasn't thinking of them.  But wow, it's definitely close.  ^^;  Actually, it's a take on a town in the Crusaders of Might and Magic game called Corantha mixed with name Kyran.

That's a cool way to get a nickname.  I like it.  Kyran is a nice name that you don't hear too often.  I get tired of meeting a new "Mary" or "Bob" when I go somewhere.  We need to pick new names here in the States.  Kyran is a nice change in my world. 

I cheated; I stole Charles Dawson "Daws" Butler's middle name... and Mel Blanc's middle name/initial to form "Dawson J"... and haven't looked back in years.


This movie reminds me of the fangame "Abobo's Big Adventure" - it's free and legal and ROCKS! The NES has never had a better homage than this game.  Abobo does things that we ALL have wanted to do to some of the enemies in NES games.  It even has Fester's Quest references! That was a game EVERYONE hated, but I'm still emotionally attached to it.
