So back in March, I posted about my friend Gina's debut book, Croak, and I know some people ended up reading & enjoying it. Good news! Book 2, Scorch, is out already! Well, it is next week, and here's the very fun book trailer for it. :)

Yay! I was just wondering recently when this was coming out! :D I'm not sure why, but in my mind, I picture Uncle Mort being played by Christopher Lloyd. :P

LOL. Seems fitting. Although I think it would need to be a much younger Lloyd, Mort doesn't strike me as being quite so old, heh.

I just finished reading Scorch this morning. One of the twists, I predicted from the beginning; another one completely blindsided me. I'm feeling rather conflicted about the protagonist. And the waiting for book 3 begins...

I haven't read it yet--waiting for when she's doing a book launch party next weekend to buy my copy and get it signed :) Hmm, interesting notes though!

Somehow, I don't think getting my Kindle copy signed would work out well. :P

Geez, I'm sorry.  If I'd have known, I would have bought more drinks in Boston.

This reminds me that I still have to read the first book... It's something I've been meaning to do for awhile lol. I have so much stuff on the back burner...
