Moebius Alpha Impressions Thread.....

Figured I'd throw this up since I'm fishing for details and might as well have a topic on it, heard bits and pieces on other forums about the Alpha, the general impressions I've gathered of the Alpha demo is that Malachi isn't the most likeable at first, the music is really good, the graphics are pretty clean though the animation needs work, and what story that is there is more detail-oriented and slow-burning.  A Youtube Let's Play of it would be nice if possible

Actually, it appears that we are allowed to reveal that there is an alpha build out there (honestly, I wasn't sure), but not say very much about it.

So, I'll say that I've seen it, and that it's clearly a Jane Jensen and Phoenix Online Studios game.

And I love the GK series and am very impressed with Cognition so far. So, take from that what you will.

I've played through the alpha, and I like it so far. It still needs some work, but I like the direction it's going - and the end (of the demo - still fairly early in the game, I believe) leaves me intrigued.

I have to concur with the assessment of Malachi Rector - he's not overly likeable on the surface, but I suspect he'll become more so as we get to know him better. He's very intelligent, and he knows it - he comes off as rather arrogant.

Yeah... That's what took down the POStudios server over the weekend. Apparently lots of backers were eager to try it out.

I played through the alpha, and I liked the storyline and characters. Some obvious glitches though, but given that this is an alpha, I hope that these will be corrected.
