So, CD Projekt Red has released the first trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. Like The Witcher before it, it's an open world, mature non-linear RPG. I loved The Witcher series, so I'm really looking forward to this game. I'll keep everyone informed on how this game progresses. What does everyone think? It's also cool to note that it's based off the pen and paper RPG CyberPunk 2020. Though I've never played it, this looks like it'll be a good game.

Cool...I guess.  I really wish games would do away with the cinematic trailers.  If you are going to announce a game, do it like Watch Dogs, with actual gameplay footage.

Ahh, the watch dogs announcement. Such a good announcement. It came out of nowhere, and they had something substantial to show for it. I usually prefer my game announcements to have something to show for themselves other than Pre-rendered CG trailers that likely won't even appear in the final game. Generally I like gameplay footage myself. They've been talking about CyberPunk for awhile now, so they must have something other than CG to show. Generally CD Projekt Red has quarterly conferences, so I expect we'll get some kind of spring conference that has a lot more info on cyberpunk.

I interpreted that trailer as "the whole game takes place in bullet time", lol.

Bullet time, Sam Fisher goggles, and I am pretty sure that cyborg lady had a system crash, she wasn't moving at all.

She also had scythes for arms. That was pretty cool lol I want to see what gameplay is like before I make any sort of final judgement on it. It looks cool, but the gameplay will determine everything for me.
