Anyone here ever watch the PBS game show Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? That was a totally awesome show. They don't make 'em like that anymore. (sniff)

"Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego"? You mean that old CGA game where you had to catch a criminal by guessing what country he/she is in? I remember playing it in elemtary school english classes...
Was that a series?

I agree, the World game show was much, much better than the Time game show. The Time one didn't seem to have enough substance, it was mostly flashy stuff.

I used to love the game show!  The funniest was when they once had a map of Canada, and the person had to run around placing flags on the provinces' capitals.

Sorry, it's just funny when Americans think Alberta is next to Alaska.

Played some of the games(NES), watched a few episodes of the cartoon(the last in the series was strange, Carmen is the one catching crooks), and watched the game shows(FAR more than the cartoon, but not reguraly).

I was first introduced to Carmen Sandiego on our old Tandy 1200 PC with that good ol' green monochrome monitor.  Where all the "F" keys were on the left hand side of the keyboard.

Anyway, my Grandfather (rest his soul  ) bought it for my sister and I and whenever he came to visit us he would play and help us with it.  It also came with the 1987 World Almanac.

Good times.  Good times.

I always watched the show but I was never smart enough to play any of the games.
