I used to play on my Grandfather's bulldozer(I don't think it worked at the time). That's what you call fun  ;D

Driving in Cali is a pain i would rather walk places cause gas is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Now everything is clear
I erase the fear
I can disappear
(please) I don't ever want to make it stop

In another 10 years, you might not need it in California(I'm referring to those new cars, that cost $)

I wish I had enough money to buy one of those electric/gas hybrids... they look awfully nice. Sadly, if I ever can afford a car, it's likely going to be of the used clunker variety. :(

Yeah, my car...1996 Corsica...got it 3 years ago...but so much work has gone into it, it's practically a new car.  *wonders if she can ask Santa for a new paint job*

Had I not had that accident and a total-loss car now, I too would have bought such a hybrid in a few years. Now that plan has been set back. My "new" car is a used car too.

I wasn't talking about hybrids(although the thought crossed my mind). I was talking about Fuel Cell, even though they may never be mainstream.

Instead of piping hydrogen why don't they sell canisters of it? You'd just give them your old canister and they'd give you a new one. Just like with propane tanks for grills. It requires a lot less restructuring except maybe just making a safe place to store the hydrogen canisters. There would still be money to made, though it would still be cheaper than gas because the containers are reusable and hydrogen is very easy to come by.

My best guess is liquid hydrogen gas needs to be stored under more pressure than liquid propane gas, so propane canisters are not safe enough to use. BUt, I'm not a chemicist (?sp), so I may be way off. Anyway, if it were possible to do it in canisters, I'd think someone who's better in this type of fuel distribution would've considered it already. XD
