Jericho started as a TV show and was canceled after two seasons, then semi-recently had a "third season" in comic form.  I mentioned it because the atmosphere is somewhat similar to Jeremiah and the comic connection.  I would also say it's a better TV show than Jeremiah is.

Three words: Bimbos in Time.

Yes. This comic actually exists.
I have no mouth, and I must scream.

LadyTerra

I think that was also made into a movie.

Along with what other people mentioned, I'd recommend Kingdom Come (DC future story) and the original TMNT comics.
I have my cake and eat it too, until it's gone.  Then I can't do either.

Aww!  You have the Sword of Hugging +3!  All of your attacks deal affectionate damage!

I'd like to recommend two webcomics I found recently:

Powernap, where humanity has invented a drug that means nobody needs to sleep, ever again! Except the main character is allergic to it. And his dreams are incredibly weird and seem to point to some kind of conspiracy.

Broodhollow, a Cosmic Horror/Lovecraft inspired webcomic. Guy discovers a distant relative died in a town he's never heard of. Guy goes to town and discovers it's really creepy. Sounds generic, but it gets a LOT of fun out of mocking these Lovecraftian horror tropes.
Prince of the Aquitaine. Duke of York.

Knight errant and consort to Her Grace the Empress Deloria of the Holy Roman Empire, Queene of all Albion and Princess Palatine.

The Technis Imperative. That is all.

Isn't that the Teen Titans comic where cyborg returns to Earth shaped like a planet?

just making sure, I knew the name sounded familiar!

It's a good comic to be sure, a bit too much dialog at times and the JLA is a bit too overzealous, but overall a fine choice!
