It makes me sad seeing companies that deserve to stay open and be known have it hard. I have met a lot of indie developers recently and they are struggling and it saddens me that they deserve better they deserve more than these "AAA" games are getting. I really hope they stay open and they reach their goal.

Say

Working very hard at it, I think Jan and I had some sort of a meltdown today when IndieGogo crashed lol :P

85% Funded, they're close to being saved! They're so close  ;D

Blackthorne

I have no doubt they'll make their goal and then smash it!

yep, it's good to know that they will.

and I'm glad Say was so awesome about it, she really gave it her all to help promote it

They made the goal, and are now talking about stretch goals. That's an awesome thing.

Some nice new perks too. If you pledge $25 or more, you get the PC version of J.U.L.I.A. Untold, a prequel to J.U.L.I.A.

Pet peeve alert. Pretty sure they mean EDT, not EST.

It matters. There are places that don't observe daylight savings time.

I don't know why that drives me up the wall, but it does.

I'm afraid I have no opinion on that as I live in GMT+0 land  ;D

I'm 100% with you. A lot of places I complain at just use ET now. :P

Yes, that is the proper form if you're in doubt.

And hooray! It's nice to know that I'm not alone in my madness here. 8)

Some countries switch to Daylight Savings Time on different dates.  We in the States at DST right now, but my co-workers in Dublin don't switch until this weekend.
I have my cake and eat it too, until it's gone.  Then I can't do either.

Aww!  You have the Sword of Hugging +3!  All of your attacks deal affectionate damage!

Daylight Savings Time or not, I had a blast today, hanging with Jan, Say, Cesar and Agustin.  We really did have a silly good time, especially before we went live - and I can say that there isn't a more fun and creative bunch out there.

Jan is really talented and just a super nice guy.  I'd scratch anybody on that panel's pelotas anyday of the week.

I was only able to catch bits & pieces of it live as I had a meeting at the same time, but I DID catch Bt randomly answering his phone in bad Spanish and claiming his name was Esteban. Dunno what that was about, but it was pretty hilarious!

I'll have to catch the archived video soon :)
