Well, it seems to me that the gifts of the fairies match up to their names.  Flora, which refers to plants, gives the gift of beauty.  Lips that shade the red rose and walking in springtime wherever she goes and whatnot.  Fauna, which refers to animals, gives the gift of song.  So you've got a reference to singing birds.  So we can infer the gift from the fairy's name.

Merryweather probably would have given the gift of a sunny, un-turbulant nature.  Which Aurora seemed to have anyway.  Unless she was a raging *fill-in-your-own-blank-here* off camera.

I've given this entirely too much thought.
