60fps?

I know this game is not a twitch fps, but I noticed that I have 60fps in the menu, but only 30fps in the game.

Its this by design, or is it possible to play in 60fps?

It does only run at the 30 fps rate.

Thanks for the reply. As I said, since the game is not a twitch shooter that is not a big deal, but I must say I am used to smooth 60fps in PC games. So I am curious is that a technical limitation of the engine, or a conscious decision of the developers?
I ask, because most PC games that are limited to 30fps are console ports of games which engines were designed around 30fps (e.g. Dark Souls, LA Noire). I hope you will be able to provide some insight.

It's a bit of both actually. The walking system depends on the framerate to track itself, and since we're developing the game for both PC/Mac and iPad/Android it's easier for us to keep as many things as consistent as possible.
