But, yeah, even bearing that in mind, cyan would be at the bottom of my list.

To be fair, none of the protagonists had very good outfits, except maybe Rosella's peasant clothes. I mean, as awesome as Graham is...he's still wearing teal pants. If I saw a man in teal pants, I'd stay the hell away from him.

It's all about contrasts.  Graham's cyan pants read visually as more blue because they are paired with the much more complementary red of his shirt.  Gwydion/Alexander's outfit, however, pairs cyan with the cooler and less complementary violet, making the cyan seem more sickly and almost greenish.  It's a much more garish pairing, especially with Gwydion's spray-tan orange skin.  In fact, I'd like to go on record saying that Gwydion/Alexander is the absolute ugliest AGI ego sprite from the entire Sierra catalog.
