Anyone else watch/have watched Hemlock Grove? I'm about to watch the final episode. It basically is a horror series on Netflix involving Werewolves and other supernatural elements. I highly recommend it.

I can safely say I have no idea what that is :P

I've seen ads but not watched it yet. Though that DOES sound right up my alley...

Finished the season just now. I loved it personally, but apparently the critics did not.

Didn't it get nominated for an Emmy?

On the one hand, I REALLY want to watch it. It's totally my type of show. On the other hand, I don't have Netflix and with the possibility of Netflix diving in to save Warehouse 13, I'd like to not get Netflix until they do that. (So they know that's why I'm doing it. :P)

I finally watched this, and I really liked it! Cool twists on vampire and werewolf mythology, lots of twisted complicated characters, and I liked the acting personally. It got uneven reviews, but Im in for season 2.

My gripes, however:
I really hated that Ronan raped that girl, and that there were no consequences for it. It made my skin crawl. I completely get WHY they did it, to foreshadow that his mother made him rape Letha and neither if them remembered. But nonetheless, I hated that. Roman was already a good, very grey but trying to be good character, and that just...ugh. Did not sit well.

I also hate that Letha died in childbirth. She was a cool character, I liked her relationship with Peter, and it turned into just a plot device, really.
So I went and looked into it and omg I'm never watching it -- the way werewolves transform? I think I'm too squeamish for that. (Also it doesn't make a ton of sense, how do they shift back to human form?)

Yeah, it's...icky. They rarely show it, and only once in "full" (that first time). They never show the change back--though another character witnesses a wolf change back to human form off-screen and says it was "beautiful", and whatever happens it doesn't leave the same mess behind.

You can always fast forward that part if you're interested in it otherwise.
