Error message: GetThreadContextFailed.... Episode 3

I had some trouble installing the game at first until I saw on the forum to rename the file .exe and it installed fine. But everytime I get to the first crime scene and talk to the officer, it freezes up and I get the error message.....GetThreadContextFailed.
Any help is appreciated.

Can you run dxdiag on that computer and then save and send the result to me directly via weldon@postudios.com please? I can take a look at those results and see if there's something in there that stands out to me.

There's also an output log file that'd be useful here. If you look where you installed the game, default is C:\Phoenix Online Studios\Cognition - Episode 3, inside the data folder there it will just have an output file. If you can find and send that along as well that'd be great.
