I've been to Hell. It's a better place than earth by far.
I have no mouth, and I must scream.

Oh, you know, I did forget a few states--my senior year in college we did a weekend roadtrip in a winnebago for a football game at Notre Dame. So I've also driven through a few states between there and Boston, though I didn't really stop and see much of anything in them.

United States:
I really don't know.  Most of the states I've been have been drive throughs on the way across country so does that really count?  Maybe technically but not in the spirit of the question, I don't think.  I've lived the following places:
Michigan
New Jersey
Ohio (where I eventually went to college, GO BUCKEYES!)
Connecticut (where I got my accent)
Kentucky (where the accent got thicker in defiance of the southerners)
Pennsylvania (where I live now)
I've also actually visited the following places (not just driven through)
Florida (Disney World!)
Washington D.C.
New York (New York City to be exact)
Montana (camped at Glacier National Park and saw the Badlands)
Yellowstone National Park (it runs between like 4 states)
New Hampshire
Vermont (more camping!)

Canada:
Ontario (Toronto specifically as well as Niagara Falls)

Caribbean:
Bahamas

Europe:
France (Paris specifically.  It's a great city and I want to go back and eat more croque madam.  That sounded filthy.  Sorry.  It's really delicious though.)

I haven't been out of the US, so that makes me quite sad...but in the US:

North Carolina
South Carolina
Tennessee
Kentucky
Virginia
Georgia
Alabama
Florida
Mississippi
Louisiana
Texas
Oklahoma
Arkansas
Colorado
Maryland
Pennsylvania
New Jersey
New York
Washington D.C.

There may be more states since we did travel/camp growing up, but I want to say the furthest west we went was Colorado.

From the sound of it, we may be heading to California in the next few months, but that's not set in stone yet :)

As for where I WANT to travel...almost anywhere in Europe. My dream vacation is Ireland. The Mediterranean would be great...*sigh* one day...

You know, I always wanted to travel more.  When I was in my early twenties, I decided that was my goal - unfortunately, life had other plans for me - and suddenly I was on kidney dialysis, three times a week, fours hours a clip.  Makes travel hard - missing dialysis is VERY bad, and setting up sessions with other clinics is difficult - and expensive - and going overseas?  Well, heh, forget about it....  So I've spent most of my time in the states - and I've never been out West... yet.  I've been to the Eastern side of Canada many times, as my State wears it for a hat.

Traveling with a transplant is much less hard than when on dialysis, but I still have a giant suitcase full of anti-rejection meds that I have to take - making sure I can get them filled isn't an issue in the states, but I've not even considered what it would be like internationally.  Besides, I have no money for travel anyway these days - but someday, hopefully, I'll have the ability to do it.  It's just been on hold for 10 years, my ideas of travel and I'm definitely not as young as I once was!

I did quite a bit of traveling until I got a boyfriend and decided every spare moment had to be spent plotting with him. :P Now that we're moving in together, I may get to again. :P Portugal is on the list though, as is all of Scandinavia and Lithuania. :P

I own Germany, which is why I obviously didn't mention it and has nothing to do with the fact that I might have forgotten to mention it. Clearly. :P

We made a detour to Linderhof on our way to Austria. :) It is the most adorable little castle ever. :P It's the little baroque that could. All over the place. In great excess. :P It has a mini hall of mirrors. XD
