I just beat the game, anyone else? It was awesome, neither me or my brother guessed the end (we were aiming waaaaaaaaaaaay more tragic) witch was cool, cause both our guesses were making me extremely depressed x_X Comments?

I own a PS3, but I've yet to play the game (come to think about it, I haven't had much time to play much of anything these days).

But I was never a big fan of Naughty Dog, I played Uncharted 2 and I thought it was okay.

The Last of Us does look more interesting though

I play this game on my PS4. The beginning of the game I feel a little terror, but to play to the end, you do not feel anything.

that's likely the "gun" effect. It's hard to be afraid of something when you have guns. You automatically feel safer when you hold a gun

I actually loved the game right up to the very end:
So he just lies to her? After all that? And what, he's basically going to have to tell the same lie to every other person they ever meet? Nobody else is going to believe that "There's a bunch of other people who are immune too" baloney, and she's going to grow out of believing it too. I just don't feel like it's a logically sound solution.
The Last of Us was great. I like all later Naughty Dog's games - okay, it's basically Uncharted series - and this is their No. 1. Great characters (as usual per ND), great story, fun gameplay, awesome ending.
The point was that he wasn't able to let her die for a science. He viewed her as a human, someone close to him worth protecting. He was already used to ways of living and thus mere "save humanity" wasn't strong enough argument against.
By not telling her, he basically protected her from the truth. That he have butchered a whole hospital for her, that he killed the small bunch of people who were probably able to find a cure. Unchangeable things. If he told her, he would have satisfied his need to confide in and seek forgiveness. Her survivor's guilt would have only deepened.
Of course, he had to be afraid to loose her by confrotation however the decision was also for her sake, as much as cynical it might sound. And she asked because she was a smart girl and had serious doubts. She wanted to hear anything to close the door to the past. You could see in her eyes, she doesn't believe Joel but she is willing to accept the answer and not dig deeper.
As for the camp, I think anyone is more into settling down and make sure they are safe. I doubt his brother or his wife would inquisition him too hard. His story can be plausible. None of them has solid medical education or apparatuses to verify it. And even if they would have been immune people, who can say it's possible to find a cure in 5 or 10 years?

It's my interpretation. I liked it a lot. It was human and down to earth. The bad taste in my mounth after credits roll down is icing on the cake :).
